Why go all the way to the salon when you can tint your brows in the comfort of your own home? Cara Delevigne and Emmy Rossum has been big influencers in making big brows popular and eyebrow tinting makes that fuller look, look easier.

Make sure your brows are clean and makeup free before staring the tinting process. Apply Vaseline to the skin around the eyebrow area with an earbud to protect the skin from staining, rather be safe than sorry.

Mix a few drops of Hydrogen peroxide solution and a fair amount of RefectoCil Eyelash and eyebrow tint (Natural Brown 3) in your glass bowl. Take another earbud and dip it into your bowl of tinting mixture and apply it to your eyebrows. Complete one brow before moving to the next. For a more natural effect and fancier way of application you can use a clean mascara wand to mimic the hair like strokes, but a ear bud works just as good or that little white stick that comes with the tinting product, I just lost mine and made use of an earbud. Leave the tint on for some time, the longer you leave it the darker it gets. Approximately I’ll say 5 minutes is a good time to colour blonde hair to brown.

Remove the tint with tissues, which I did, or you can use a dampened cotton pad, embrace yourself to scrub a bit since it doesn’t just wipe off.

And Voila!!!!! You have natural darker looking brows which will also help you save a lot of time in the mornings when you do your makeup and it will save you a lot of money to rather do it at home.

Take a moment to admire the view of the darker eyebrows and BOW TO THE BROWS.

Let me know if you tried this brow tinting at home and what you think of it, Ill also love to hear of any other products that you would recommend.

    1. The first time is quite scary to do it, but as they say practise makes perfect. I messed up a few times, going to dark or out of the brow lines but now im quite a pro. You should give it a go 🙂
